Right I have been at my place now for 5 years now. Since I have worked at my place I have done my share of 24hr call out. In the end it ended up with it just being two of us on 24hr call out, and we both did 2 weeks each then 2 weeks off. Now it's just me who does 24hr call out all the time, every day 7 days a week. Now for being on call out the rate is £50 a week, call outs or no call outs. It's £35 a call out if you get a call out extra on top of you weekly £50. Now it's getting a bit too much for me being on call out everyday, I don't have a life as I can't go out incase I get called out :crazy: . I went in the see the manager tonight and put it to him I would like a bit more ££ cash for being on call out. But I don't know what figure I should ask for notsure.gif . I should be rewarded for the only member of staff who is willing to do 24hr call out as the rest of the lads don't want to do 24hr call out. We have 8 lads who work in our sector and only me does call outs. Should I ask for any of the rules below to change if I stick to being on call out? If I can't get any more money for being the only one who is willing to do call out, I am going to tell him I will work 2 weeks of call out and have a week off no matter what. I do need time off from call out :crazy: , but for extra money I am willing to work more on call out.
24 Hour call out rules:
£50 a week
£35 a call out for 3 hours a time
If you get a call out within the 3 hours you only get paid for the 1 call out
If I put a job on anyday I get paid a shift for it, if I get a call out in my shift I don't get paid for the call outs.
