Which centre section?

Hi all,

Looking to get a new centre section for the vec b, as I'd like a LITTLE more noise.

Everyone seems to say the remus straight through is too noisy, so which one is recommended?

Will I feel any difference, or just hear it?

Current set up is standard (irrmy letterbox) with pre cat removed.

Perhaps I would be better off spending this money on another part of the exhaust?

you can get resonared straight thro's (i think thats what they are called) and they are at least capable of being quietish at times!

Remus straight through would get my vote but thats on a Astra G heard they can be pritty loud on a Vec dunno..

i had a remus centre pipe with an irmy back box ,but didnt find it too loud then i went remus centre with the twin exit and that was just silly loud :crazy: .i now have a magnex cat back system ,magnex twin slash backbox and it sounds spot on imho,i also have a hoffman sports cat

I'd recommend a Magnex catback system. 2.5" if you can get one. I've had many combinations over the years and that would definately be the setup i'd settle for if I were at your stage of tune.

You may notice an increase in torque. That was the main difference after I had my 2.5" Milltek fitted. Quite a healty gain too, 20lbs.
