batcho can you just undo the old tensioner and fit a new one without having to do anything to the engine new chains fitted about 12k ago but has started to rattle again
Mitch99 Garage were just going to replace my tensioner, but VX only supply the new kits now, apparently the old tensioner isn't available in kit or separate, and new tensioner doesn't fit old chain/guides.
pottsey you can change just the tensioner ,but you need to make sure that the chain doesnt move at all ,else you'll end up with it jumping a tooth or more
