Help required

Being new to this I require much needed help.

I bought a vectra c elite, 2.2 automatic with the z22se engine just a couple of months ago.
On picking the car up decided I was to fully service it and change the front pads and disks. All seemed well with the car until last week when it decided to play up, it starts ok and idles at a constant rate but under load (normal driving) it will jerk around as if it were missing but if you put your foot down will pick up and drive ok. You can not keep at a constant speed at all without it playing up. My first thought was the egr valve so took it off cleaned it and put it back on, and checked the spark plugs that all seemed to be burning ok. The emissions light come up and the car wouldn't accelerate over 3000 revs under load at all, and no power what so ever. Had to drive 240 miles in it but when I got to where I was going I reset the computer that removed the emissions light but still have the original problem.
I am totally stumped with all these electronics and don't no where to turn especially seeing that I have the drive home to do in it tomorrow. I can see a speeding ticket coming my way.
Please help, and I apologise if this problem has been visited before.

well the limit of 3K would of been limp home mode that the EML would of done but you've cleared that.

the only thing i would put it down to with looking at it would be the throttle switch or simular but not sure how there set-up on the fly by wire, but i had it before on a 1.8 were you couldn't sit at a constant rev you had to keep putting your foot down and letting off if that makes sense

Would this not throw up a fault code or better than that another little light on the dash?

you might get a fault code, i'm not 100% sure! have you pluged it in to see?

Yep plugged it in no code what so ever, getting sick of looking at wires and sensors

I have a zafera with the exact same fault. The Dealer keeps syaing it is the coil pack but its not i have swaped 3 over and still no sucess. can you let me know if you have fixed the fault.
