Astra 2.2 Help Please

I have got a mk4 2.2 sri and its really annoying me
I am not clued up on these engines still learning to be honest

I know when i bought the car she was burning oil
but recenlty on a short journey (24miles) the oil light has come on and theres plenty of oil in it and a put some in just to make sure

the underside of the throttle body is thick with carbon oil and in the inlet manifold theres a slight puddle of oil which in my eyes should not be there and the chain rattles on low revs go past the 2k rev mark and she sgoes quite again

any help would be great thanks

sounds like tensioner or oil pressure on chain & most likely chain has jumped

inlet manifold and throttle body is normal

oil light might be lack of oil pressure ?

well the noise only just started really mate and its just on low revs car runs and drives fine and has plenty of power
and i cant afford a new engine

get chain checked asap

i could check the chain myself so what do i look for?

and it definelty sounds if a tensioner away as theres a big whine
