Rough Idle when warm

Firstly like to say hello to everyone as this is my first post. Hopefully ive put it in the right section and am not repeating anything from previous posts. I have searched for similar..

Ok story so far is:

Car was running a bit rough on tickover i thought this was due to the exhaust being on its way out so had a new Stainless catback exhaust custom made by Powerflow in Birmingham, this didnt solve the problem. Took it into local garage near work and they said it may be the EGR valve or sticking throttle body so had new EGR valve and throttle body cleaned, still no joy. Next was new plugs and oil change... again no luck there. Just purchased new performance air filter and still the problem persists..!

Going mad now as car runs fine but idling is a nightmare, any help as what to try next would be much appreciated.

Had a similar issue with mine, rough idle and poor start on a warm engine. Replaced the CTS and it is running spot on now. The part only costs around £15 if I remember correctly.

There is a sticky thread about this issue which helped me fix mine.

Thanks for the replys, going to try the cheaper option first of CT Sensor.
Found one on eBay for £12.99, are these easy to locate and change?

Will give coil pack a go if I have no joy..
Whats the chance of Vauxhall dealer loaning me one? :lol:

How warm does the car need to be when the problem happens??Does it do it once its been started from cold, then the revs drop?? What sort of rough idle is it?? Does the revs hunt up and down and the needle flicker ever so slightly?? Can you feel it and does the dash lights look like they are flickering??

I had a rough idle on my old 2.2 SRi Astra and i eventually found the problem when i changed the timing chain, the timing was out 1 tooth.

The car started and revved fine, just on idle it was a tad lumpy.
