hi all, had to get £20 of unleaded from a supermarket chain today as i couldn't manage any further and now she's cutting out a junctions and sometimes when i start her, she won't start and when i back off the key to restart, i hear a backfire from the engine bay, was wondering if anyone else has had problems with cheap fule and what do you run in yours? 😃

I used to run it on Shell V Power, oddly enough when I switched to Asda petrol it ran better notsure.gif

I use Sainsburys petrol which apparently comes from BP

Fill your tank up with different petrol and change your fuel filter to see if that makes a difference.
It may be entirely coincidental that dirt may have dislodged in the tank or lines and has clogged the filter.
Ive never had any problems with supermarket petrol in any of my cars.
