To be honest mate not 100% sure notsure.gif , the day before getting the new part I cleaned down the filter housing & cap, dried it off then ran the engine, once she warmed up a bit oil could be felt on the filter cap but not down the side of the housing, I even put ptfe gas tape on the threads & old seal, when I took the cap off to replace it the thread tape around the seal was dry. Yet looking at the cap I don't see any sign of a fracture or split or hole of any kind.
This is the part that I ordered, part# 12605565 £37.92 list price, £34.90 trade club price, all prices include VAT.
This is what you get in the box, it appears that the little green seal is now listed at £6 on it's own through vauxhall.
More good news though, Dingbro in Scotland supply the seals with the filters :thumbup: , Mann filters they are, they only supply to the trade though :thumbdown: , thankfully the brother in-law works there :clap: so I've now got three new ones with seals.
