TITAN As title suggests my cat has started to disintegrate and ive been quoted 330 quid for a new one. Happy to spend that kind of money if i have to, but just wondered if there are any other options? Any links etc would be helpful
Daz I was making up some downpipes the other year for peeps, and i'm sure the 200 cell cats were around £85-£100 at the time, including my time and the front pipe i was using i was charging around £120 to make it up, so u were looking at just over £200 to do, the pipes were just under 2.5in in diameter and made a differnce to perfromance...

TITAN So in effect if its the cat on my car thats gone all i need to get is the sports cat in that link or the one that sdbutler said he had and get that welded to my existing setup which should mean problem solved???

Daz Yeah wudnt be a problem......as long as ure car wud fit on my 2 poster ramp.......failing that i'd have to do after hours on a saturday in work on the scissor lift....

I do struggle to get on some ramps due to clearance but nothing to stop you taking the front bumper off, only 4 screws.
Daz I'm in newport m8...bout 16miles from the severn bridge...... front bumpers not the issue, tis the depth of ure side skirts, as the legs of the ramps wont go under.

Thats the 2.5 in version that you wud need to use if i made a downpipe up for you....however the standard downpipe is 2" in dia....but not 100%
TITAN Ok mate i think this is the route i'll take if your up for it? Might make the day of it some time in aug if thats ok as july is road tax month lol
Daz Yeah that wud be fine m8....i'm off for a week at the end of august anyhow so i cud do it then.... as long as it will fit on my ramp like i said above.....just let me know nearer the time and i can order the donor downpipe in..
