Might not have a job soon

From about 2 weeks ago I heard my company had a new manager and it had been sold to this new guy. I even dropped off the last of the old managers stuff at his home so I knew he was gone. Now the last 2 weeks I have been paid cash from my work notsure.gif , they said they had issues with the bank with it being took over by a new boss. Now on the weekend I had a phone call from someone I don't even know but has something to do with my company. He said he had received a letter saying the company had gone bust :crazy: . I said to him it's ok as we now have a new boss. Now today at work I have found out my company has volunteered administration :o , then I heard we have to leave every vehicle in the company in the yard this Friday and hand in all our work phones :think: . What do you think is happening, does it sound bad like I think it might? I have told my mate to see if he has anything at his place just incase. I have been at this company 5 years now, boo hoo.

That doesn't sound good, but who knows.. If I was you I would wait till the end of the week and hope the will tell you something by that time.

Well I have heard that the company has took a new name, so it looks like they will be shutting up shop and starting again under a new name and management. I hope so anyway, been told some people will be laid off this Friday including some of our managers.

you are covered under TUPE if the company has been taken over

when a company goes into administration and starts up again then the new company has to take all liabilities including staff contracts

hope things work out for you mate.ive been made redundant from the last 3 companies, its a right pain in the arse.

I was worried the last few days, I feel like it might be ok now. I think the new boss is wanting to start a fresh, he shut down all the accounts and looks to be getting rid of the hire cars ie Audi's, (about 7 of them) a Porsche, BMW M3 mobile phones and other stuff. All the hire cars are getting called back into the yard on Friday and they will be getting off hired I think, as they are through our company. This is my first company I have been at that this has happened to. It's not nice :crazy:
