car jerks when i change gear

i have just brought an astra mk4 sri 2.2 everytime i change gear the gear jerks kind of like my foot is not on the accelerator pedal when changing gear the car jerks more when i change above 4000rpm
any one have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Could be potentiometer on tb

I have the same problem on my astra SRi. Im pretty sure its due to the engine and gearbox mounts needing replaced.

yeah sounds like the engine and gearbox mounts ile take the car to a mates garage and let him have a look ile post the answer when hes had a look
