ok mate, I'll give them a go, if I break it, I'll just re-install it. The problem I've got is the laptop is nearly 3 years old, and the product code I have is for Windows XP, and not Windows XP with SP2, which is what I've made. I can just copy the files from my recovery disc, which is the same age, and not include SP2, which should work.
