Car has had all recalls: HT stamped wheels, brake vacuum hose, airbag.
Car itself has done 98k miles, however, in 2009, at 91k miles, had a full engine swap. The donor engine had covered 33k miles and engine mounts were also replaced at this point, along with a brand new clutch. This puts the current engine at 40k miles and the clutch/mounts at 7k. A very decent figure.
It has recently had a full service, including spark plugs, filters, coolant, oil. I have also checked and changed coolant/oil where required.
It has had a full set of tyres put on very recently that still have least three quarters tread, along with a full set of new brake discs and pads. The suspension has been changed at some point, and looks in great condition. I have fitted an Elise S2 style wiper arm and new blade, which makes for a much cleaner look and also makes replacement wiper blades a much easier mission.
As for the rest of the car, it does not look like it has done the mileage it has.
There are few stone chips for the age on the front clam as it was resprayed a few years ago. Few bubbles normal on these cars.
The front wheels are in fairly good condition, with a small amount of kerbing on one. One rear wheel has a scuff mark, the other has a small amount of kerbing, though I have another spare rear wheel included in the sale.
I have fully detailed the car with a light machine polish and wax and it is looking great.
The previous owner must have installed upgraded speakers, I have installed a Kenwood head unit.
The only modification I have done is the ABS cut off, as the ABS units in these cars are very temperamental and can activate at the touch of a stone in the road. It is easily reversible and takes less than 10 seconds to reconnect for MOT time, or if you prefer to leave it on. A simple case of turning the ignition off and removing the key and reconnecting the yellow wire under the bonnet.
The car currently has a private plate 'J4 PBL', valued at £400 by 'RegTransfers'.
Car comes with owners manual, service network and Vauxhall assistance handbooks as issued with the car from new. Also the car card, including code and key numbers.
