z22yh limp mode, no fault code and live data

Hi everybody, was wondering if anybody could shed some light in helping me find what's wrong with my 04 vec 2.2direct z22yh
last week car felt like misfired then spanner light came on followed by limp home mode. couldn't get it over 20 mph.
I have just done tests on it and NO fault codes came up however when looking in data log which I hadn't started it had p1112 logged. which went away without me doing anything. have performed numerous tests including after driving again and still no fault codes.
the car had a rough idle with what sounds like mild popping coming from the exhaust. spark plugs are dry black and exhaust is very sooty

mass air flow idle 2.5 g/s 0.3lb/min
mass air flow @ 1500rpm 3.9 g/s 0.5lb/min
mass air flow @ 2500rpm 7.0 g/s 0.9lb/min

intake manifold pressure @ idle 29kpa 4,2psi
intake manifold pressure @ 1500rpm 23kpa 3psi
intake manifold pressure @ 2500rpm 21kpa 3psi

fuel pressure guage fluctuating between 500 and 720

short term fuel trim @ idle fluctuating between -3 and -11.7
short term fuel trim @ 1500rpm +12
short term fuel trim @2500rpm +24

long term fuel trim @ idle -3.1
long term fuel trim @ 1500rpm -3.1
long term fuel trim @ 2500rpm -6.3

short term fuel trim 100% lean

car even when spanner light is out after testing wont rev over 3000rpm and then spanner comes back on and limp mode.
if anybody can help me translate this info it would be greatly appreciated. please let me know if you require any more of the live data info

just had throttle body off and full of thick black gloop. looking into the inlet manifol and again filled with thick black gloop.
when running exhaust is like a cross of spluttering and a popping. my wife says splooping.
cleaned the throttle body as gloop was easy to wipe off however inlet manifold will be a bigger job. need to find the fault first to see whats causing it.

P1112 is swirl flaps. Either failed or sticking due to carbon build up. The car is drive able dependant on the swirl flap. Could be one stuck or all stuck 75%. You really needs to whip the inlet off to inspect it. If they are buggered you need a swirl flap kit from vaux. They changed the design. You don't need to buy a whole new inlet just swirl flap kit which comes with rod, actuator motor and flaps. Or could buy an inlet from the scrappy but you might run the risk of buying another broken inlet. Might even just need a good clean and be lucky that the flaps are struggling to open and close as they are covered in carbon.
