Hi.I have a vectra 2.2 petrol. z22se. On starting it spluttered & stopped as if had run out fuel.(Has got fuel). Wont start now. Was thinking fuel pump as i could always hear it whirl when ignition turned on but now cant. Went to depressurize the fuel to get at pump & there was no fuel pressure there. Does this sound like the pump? If so is there any way to get the ring off without the correct tool.
Have been told it could be pressure regulator. Any way of checking this please.
