was just wondering is the vectra c 2.2 diesel sri air intake pipes the correct for upgrading as i can get the 2 pipes for £15 delivered(no pic to see though)
to go on my z20let zafira gsi with astra h 1.9 cdti airbox

To the filter or from the filter to the TB? The Stock Vec C 2.2 (SE) petrol one will work mate, its the same as Daz's. Mine only has one input and thats for the breather as the C runs a MAF. Not too sure if the Direct 2.2 (YH) is the same though, but the SE's is bob on.

Did you notice any difference? I'm tempted to try it on the VXR, because the internal diameter of the pipe looks to be larger and provide smoother air flow to the airbox compared to the VXR one.

i,m unsure of the size of the vxr one but 100% the diesel veccy c air intake is hugely bigger than my standard gsi,the one i had was off a sri model

i,m quite sure it has made a slight difference,im waiting till i can afford more mods like the fmic at least till i go for a remap/and now cat back exhaust

hardly use it at the moment tbh..got a 1.7dti astra estate to toodle about in as its too damn expensive too run lol

The opening on the VXR one is about the same, but it's where it bends under the slam panel, the pipe is reduced to make the bend. I might just remove the connector pipe, and replace it with some ducting as I've seen that done before.

I've just ordered a beeson intake pipe from aoc....tis larger than the vec c one, will pop some pics up when it arrives

At £50 posted it wasnt that expensive so thought i give one a punt.....however, as the rads on both mine and alys have been moved slighty to allow for the fmic....i can only fit it with the front end stripped(it aint gonna go in) SO...... do i fit it to mine or alys lol...
