breather catch tank question

im looking into fitting a catch tank to my astra z22se,the ones on ebay have 2 outlets but obviously one comes from the rocker cover but what or where does the other outlet go? the reason im asking is i have looked at a water bottle in asda which is made of metal and i was thinking of using that which costs a bit less at £2

I have a catch tank fitted with 2 attachments. 1x pipe in to catch oil and moisture and 1x pipe out to a small breather filter under the car to allow the oil vapour to escape.

Some have 3 attachments whereby the third is connected to the crank case breather pipe.

where do you fit the tank as i cannot see a lot of places where it will go and be near to the outlet?

well i have managed to make up a catch tank and it cost me less than £10,the water bottle is alluminium and cost a whole £2,i was given a small piece of 10mm copper pipe and i had a roll of 10mm pipe from when i worked at a vauxhall dealer,the pipe was being chucked out,the t piece cost less than £3 and a coupe of jubilee clips £2,i have now got to find a place where i can install it,it is not as pretty as the ones on ebay but then it did cost a lot less :thumbup:

Fitted to the bracket on the bulk head.

shame i did not get the answer from johnnyN as to where to mount it,i eneded up mounting to to the passenger side of the air con condenser

total cost of my diy version was
2 jubilee clips £2
bottle £2
2 bigger jubilee clips £2.70
t piece £2.50
2 radio strips £3
10mm copper pipe ,free
10mm rubber pipe ,free
so a total cost of £12.70

i have now got to finf the crankcase filter which i have and cannot find it
