colin002 my pals steering pump seems to be filling up with engine oil .. is there a seal kit i can get for the pump .. waited till fluid was at temp . and removed excess .. few days l8r pool on ground and bottle over filled .. never been topped up
JohnnyN Yes there is a seal kit available from Vx. I bought one about 4 years ago at the cost of about £22. I would imagine that price has gone up like everything else now though.
BURT150 What does the seal kit consist of? I might have the same problem :roll: If its just the o ring between the pump and head it might be worh sealing it back up with gasket sealer first?
colin002 will be some kind of stem seal .. instant gasket will be no good for moving parts .. vx a ripping b****ds am going to remove the seals at the weekend and match them up with something cheaper
