EBAY rant!

I recently sold my fishing pole on Ebay. It only cost me £1.99 to list it. I haven't sold anything on there for a couple of years now.

When it told, it went for £142 + postage of £16. PayPal fee for the transaction was £5.57, and now ebay have just sent me the invoice for the listing, of £15.99! So all in it's cost me over £20 to sell an item! Fuck knows how people can sell cars on there given how much they take off you.

I know i sold some items there a few months ago, got a oinvoice month later £38 then pay pal took a dip off that as well.

Ebay sucks for selling stuff mate and thats why ppl are starting to go to other sites that will do it for next to nothing. The thing with ebay is they think they can do what they want as they are a huge site that everyone knows but like most internet sites they will start to fade out as they are getting to greedy.

It was all re-listing and stuff that did it ! They are making a fortune ! Takes the piss really Cus when u really look at it you've not made anything once eBay has taken a cut and then paypal .... Play.com is the same given up selling my DVD collection on there , some of the DVDs I sell I'm at a loss by the time ive posted them !!!

i remember when use to make money on there. not now, i sold a part last month i forgot i had off my old golf gti sold for £7.11 and then got email asking for £3.51 and pay pal got there cut out of it. i had a few emails when selling thing people asking me what i want for the stuff and if i can stop the auction and if can send a cheque to me so pay pal and eBay dont get there cut

That is one of the reasons we now take Credit / Debit Card on the z22se shop. PayPal fees cost a bloody fortune each month when people are buying timing and balance chain kits!

i HATE paypal , i realised the other day they had not transfered money into my bank account went on there a week later .....398 quid sitting there so had to transfer it for the second time !!!!! stupid f'in paypal ! :silent:

I had a bill for over £60 once!
