HU stopped working

Went out last night in the car, HU was fine. Got in the car this morning, started it, and nothing. Looks like there is no power to the HU.

Checked the fuses, and come into work to have a look on the web. Been back outside to try it again, and it's now working! I did turn the ignition off and on again a few times before, and it still didn't work.

Much be that time of the month for the car.

All cars have odd days , my old car though it would be educational one morning and change the computer to French !

Yeah, I'd just gone back outside to check if the interior lights were working, as they are on the same fuse as the HU, and when I put the keys back in the ignition, it came back to life!

I think it's got the face on because I've not used it since Wednesday, and it's covered in pollen and tree sap

I think a cheeky clean might be in order !

It's bloody annoying when cars do this, the day before all is well then the next morning something doesn't work :crazy:

Well it was fine again on the way home this afternoon, so haven't a clue what was wrong with it notsure.gif

Did it again last night! Got home from work, all working fine. Got into the car a couple of hours later to pop out, and nothing, totally dead. Got to where we were going (only 5 minutes away), turned the ignition off and on a few times, and it started working again??

Maybe a loose pin in your Iso plugs causing an intermittent connection.

That was my thought as well. There are a lot of wires tucked in there due to the can adaptor
