Lack of power

My car today felt slow dunno.. , it was not as it should be notsure.gif . Will a new intercooler help it out, I felt like it was because it was to getting enough cold air. I know some turbos have off days, think today was one for mine. The pick up from putting my foot down felt like ages to get going

Mine feels as though it has off days to Mark, but most of the time I think it's all in my head.

Mine has the odd day too......probs down to air temp's and humidity...

You could always try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes, and then drive it like you stole it so the ECU can re-learn your driving style?

I can normally put my foot down and pick up well, today a Seat Diesel car with a big exhaust flew past me, I put my foot down and I had to drop down a gear to get going a little. My Sport button felt like it was not working. Probably just one of those off days.... :buffer

What's to say the Seat wasn't also running 200bhp and almost twice the torque of your Astra Mark? Those VAG PD engines are bloody quick when tuned.

Well I was in the slow lane on the road and he already had speed coming past me, I just put my foot down in 6th but not much happened so I dropped a gear and my speed started to slowly get up. I normally just have to put my foot down and away it goes

Not much will happen Mark in 6th, you should have dropped down to 4th.
