Whats the widest tyre i could fit on a Mk4 Astra??

Been offered a set of Team Dynamics Pro-Race 1.2 18s with 225 40 18 tyres.

The car is lowered 60mm front and about 40mm rear.

Will they rub??

Just waiting on the guy getting back to me with the offset which too will help.

depandant on the offset of the wheel....but i wud say they will rub... tried my old dare x1's with 225/40/18 on the wifes coupe, and they bent the arches out coz they rubbed so much

i run 225/35/18 et 45's my arches are fine

SE1 is factory lowered 30mm :thumbup:

still got enough space to get my hand in there and some

was running 45's on there n that was tighter than a ducks arsehole !

Your fronts will rub ...your rears will be tight... but this all depends on the offset !

What sort of offset will i need to be as close to as possible??

They are off a Vectra.
