al-iom I can't seem to get the top left bolt (when looking at engine from front of car) undone. A normal 13mm socket is not long enough and a long reach is too long, anyone know how to get it off? Any help much appreciated, Al

delgado900 How about another spanner....and use a 13mm spanner and If you need more leverage use another spanner 😃
JohnnyN Can you not get on it with a ring spanner? Just had a look at mine and taken a couple of pics. My shield is held on with 2 standard bolts. Yours sound like they are different.
al-iom Thanks for all the help, I am gonna give it a crack later on tonight. Thats a great point jonny, I'll just use a ratchet spanner, should do the trick nicely!
