hi every one,been getting my 01 sri 2.2 ready for mot,it passed ok last thursday,but over the weeks while preparing the car,i have had to start it to move it,and now and then would hear the dreaded rattle,so booked the car in for yesterday for a new chain kit,the fitter rang me to say it wasnt the cam chain but the balance chain,causing the rattle,he said the cam one was worn but not as bad as the balance chain,just wondered if some one has replaced the cam chain only at some point,or if this is normal,any way over the moon its done.
