Divx Help, how do I put files onto my Pioneer

How can I get music videos in this format? My new Pioneer headunit only plays Divx files for video notsure.gif . How do I put the DivX files onto my Pioneer MVH8300BT notsure.gif

Now the next part is how do I put DivX files onto my Pioneer? I have an SD card slot for music, I have a USB port, I can hook up my iphone through the USB port and I have an Aux port but I don't know what one is for the DivX files notsure.gif . My Pioneer is a MVH8300BT

Use a usb memory stick and give that a whirl , you could have your iphone a storage device (you can set an ammount to have as storage i think) to store music videos but thats a waste of an iphones space .

I can read the video files off the SD card into my Pioneer Mark.

It's probably not in a divx format it likes then Mark. There are various encodings you can use. When I converted a DVD to use, it was done using DVDFab platinum, and use their AVI format.

I'll make a small video and convert it for you later on for you to try in your HU.

Matt, my headunit is going on about registering with DivX VOD contents provider notsure.gif . How do I do that lol. It says I have to generate a DivX VOD registration code and submit it to my provider :crazy: . Thats probably why I can't get video just yet

I've never seen that Mark. It may be that the file you are trying to play is DRM protected, and you need to register the HU with who ever you bought the video from.

Mine is within the HU, you access it via the video menu

I don't have a video menu Matt. I have USB, AUX, RADIO, SD. Been looking all through my Pioneers setting and I can't find nothing, just a BT code and I think thats for Bluetooth notsure.gif
