got sky tv on the pc

anyone else got this ive got my sky tv linked up to my pc so now i can whatch my favourite programs and be on my fav site to 😃

got my self a top notch tv car with s video slot got a scart in the sky box with a audio and s video conecto and hooked trhe svideo cable in to the video card on the pc then running the video in a window which sits in front of anything on the desktop but the 19" monitor is good for having a lot of things on the screen anyway picture is alot better than on the tv 😃

nice one mate, would like to that with mine but i'm not changing the video card as my pc isn't that old.

U dont need to change ure vid card m8,just get a dedicated tv tuner card with s vid inputs etc..and run it along with the video card.

you dont need to change the graphics card m8 just get a video capture card i wouldnt get rid of my graphics card either thats why i got a capture car with the s video socket can get one for as little as a tenner m8 😃

the one i got was 40 but you can get one for about a tenner m8 and they do the same job just less options

if u want to put like your old videos on dvd then i would recomend getting a decent one i got on that supports hdtv but it dont work because my graphics card doesnt support hd signals but works good with everything else like i say good if you have old vids and want to put them on dvd 😃

thats o good one m8 think there is an offer on that on with a 80gb external hardrive and tv tuner

I've already got a 250gig external drive, plus a few hundred blank DVD's. Got the tuner this afternoon when I got up. It's really good, apart from the fact you can't get a signal using the supplied ariel. I'm having to plug it into the external ariel, but not much of a problem.

yeah, it's spot on, on here and watching E4. I like how with the software which comes with the tuner you can create a schedule of all the programs you want to record. This is better than my freeview box in the living room

can record the films from tv aswell then take out the adverts and hey presto lol
