delgado900 Would an astra coupe SE1 come with the heating element in the seats at manufacturing stage , or would this of been added as per customer spec ? notsure.gif
delgado900 I have a connection coming from the floor to the bottom of the seat and behind the console I have a black square bulky connection with a green one . And also 2 rectangular connections one blue and one green . Am I right in thinking the squareish ones ( green and black ) are for heated seats ?
Daz That plug with yellow end is for the seat belt pretensioner. Just looking at mine and the wires for the seat go into the black box under the seat. Theres also a grey relay under the seat base too.
Daz Only if you have pads in the seats. U can tell if you have by looking at the bottom of the pull out part. Theres 2 wires going ito it.
delgado900 bugger !!!!! cryb.. Can you buy heat pads from VX to put into the seat ? where would the rest of the loom be would that be additional or will it be hidden in the console ?
Daz U would imagine you could buy them, however the seats have to be stripped right back to fit them.... As for the rest of the loom, i would say its under the seat tucked away somewhere, as if you have the plugs under the console the rest shud be there

delgado900 Going to give up on this ! Vx were useless today and after talking to then for a while I had to walk out ! Got a few projects ongoing taking on another would be silly I guess .... Oh well maybe in a few months .
solorider heated seats was only standard with leather seats, you cannot get heated alacantra seats,it may have been an option with cloth
delgado900 That wouldn't stop me 🙂 just a case of fitting some heating pads and then linking up the loom
