Supermarket fuel comes from the same refineries as the other big well known brands
the difference is additives as they are highly expensive - additives are used to increase the longevity of octane or simply increase it as it is an older supply - also other additives are used based on whether it is petrol or diesel - additives are added at the same time the tankers are filled so it is specific to each range of garages
i wont touch supermarket fuel as i have seen slight differences in fuel economy and engine response
