Daz Have you got a code reader?... as iirc theres a fuse for the 16pin plug, so if the reader wont work then its poss the fuse is blown..
Mark_Dj It's working I think as when it's connected the management light flashes a few times and the main display changes a little. I tried starting the car when it was doing it's checks and my car would not start, thought I had broke the car :crazy: .
Mark_Dj I will tomorrow Matt, I know some of the Vxr users have the dashhawk. I wonder if the canbus is different on the Vxr to my Astra?
MikeS canbus is the same on every astra H big pain in the ass ! simply could be your ecu refusing access to the device worth unplugging the battery m8 to allow the ecu to reset then try gain access also could be software revision on the device
Mark_Dj I thought so as well. The lad I bought it off has just said it was from his Mazda Mps and it was working perfect. I have looked at vids on youtube and a few Mazda owners have these dashhawks. I can hear it working my cars ecu and the management light flashes a few times to try and connect but thats as far as it's gone.

I will re set my ecu tomorrow before I give up and try my mates car.
Mark_Dj I never checked that as I know my car is canbus and these only work with canbus cars. I did try and have a little look at the main obd plug but I could not see nothing, pins are deep down I think, or hidden by plastic as I could not see a thing close up.
