Have just ordered a new meriva, no not the VXR version, as much as I would love to, it would be very expensive on fuel for my wife running about in it.
Have ordered the Meriva design with exterior pack, 17 " rims, VXR style pack including rear skirt, rear roof spoiler, side skirts and front bumper spoiler. Adaptive forward headlights that turn the corner with you, climate control, blacked out rear windows, twin sunroofs, integral bluetooth phone kit, irmscher exhaust, 6 disc changer etc, abs, traction control, a host of other things ebd das blah blah blah. 1.7cdti in Ultra Blue pearlescent metallic.
Sales guy said he has been selling cars for twelve years and has never sold one with all the options ticked.
Probably the worlds most expensive Meriva, a shade under twenty grand with all the options at full price. Yep I know I could have had this that or the other second hand for that money, but we wanted a brand new motor, one that no one else had got their mitts on, and one that would do everything we wanted it to, go camping, take bikes etc, but still be stylish and look good on the road. We did not pay full price for it as we got a great deal through the dealer.
Bad news is that we may have to wait twelve weeks for delivery due to all the extra stuff that has to be built into it at the factory.
