Right, just had an issue with my Vectra, its never let me down in 4 years of owning it (except an advisory on an MOT that my rear indicators are not yellow enough) so obviously today it wanted to throw me a curve ball...
It ran fine when going to the bank at lunch, but coming to start it up nothing... except clicking, tried to bump it in gear to turn the engine see if that helped but no joy, however an actual bump start fired it up first time, it runs fine but (this may give someone a clue?) the dash was going bonkers (needles were 'fluttering all over the place).
I am pointed in the direction of the starter motor sticking? However would this cause the irratic dash? (the dash settled down after a few seconds) The battery seems fine, showing the green dot and good voltage notsure.gif
Anyone had this or can point me in the right direction? (Its a 2001 2.2 Sri)
