Nik_L What are the differences between the 2?? I have found 1 on ebay that is an aftermarket kit,yet the part number is the same as the kits they sell on here. The links are also coloured for easy fitment. Has any1 ever fitted a non gen GM kit??

I would only use a genuine vauxhall kit bought from a vauxhall dealer as the ones on eBay that are "genuine" are old stock or fakes,if you buy from vauxhall you get the latest parts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Nik_L Do you think this is a genuine kit?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/vauxhall-vx220-za ... 51911a4270 I found this seller via a thread on here and some1 who bought from here reckons its a genuine kit with all the latest parts.

jwalker That's the one I ordered for a Vectra B Z22SE and that came with the Z20NET tensioner, but I'd ask the seller first.
Nik_L Does the tensioner in the pic look like the Z20NET 1?? I called the seller on the number on his ad and he said the pic is the actual kit.
vocky thats the old type tensioner, well the last of the old type latest kits have the z20net tensioner
Nik_L Received the kit yesterday and got it all fitted up.Had the Z20NET tensioner with the raised part on the top of the head.
Wave_III Having had my Vectra 2.2 have the timing chain slip a second time following the fitting of a non Vauxhall supplied tensioned I would strongly recommend that only genuine parts are fitted. It just isn't worth the risk!
