Its possible. Check your service history first to see if its already been changed. Some people on here have reported chains snapping/rattling about the 60k, me personally ive had 117k out of my coupe one & the Zaf has 107K and only has a slight rattle. The 2001 Zaf & my 2002 coupe had original chains.
Ask 1 of the chaps on here to have a look for you if you're technically minded. even if it is for peace of mind. It could also be something completely different.
