Well,i've just picked up my car from vauxtech,having had my timing chain and balance shaft chain kits replaced. Now i realise just how noisy my car was before! Turned the key,fired it up and couldn't believe how much quieter it is now! Love it! :thumbup: The mech did tell me i was pretty lucky tho,as he showed me the old tensioners....broken in to 3 bits! Wish i took a pic of them. Potentially,a piece of the tensioner could've come loose and the chain would've slipped and ended my engine altogether. Cost me £697 all in,parts and labour and all genuine vaux parts so i'm a happy chappy!! 😃
