Emissions light on 1 day after passing MOT

My emissions light has come on today, just after it sailed through the MOT.

I'm guessing one of the lambdas have gone but can they go all at once like that when the emissions were fine?

Do the handheld obd2 fault readers you can get for 25 quid cover emissions fault codes?

Got the fault code - P0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Control Circuit Range/Performance

So I guess it's too late to put a blanking plate on and hang the EGR off the side seeing as it's goosed? Is this code when it does open correctly?

Just buy a cheater and a blanking plate from here mate, problem solved! :thumbup:
