Reconditioned engines

I need a new engine for my astra, instead of buying a used one I would prefer to get mine reconditioned. So I have a couple of questions…

Does anyone have have a recommendation for a good place I could get one (plus fitting) in the South East / London? I would like a long guarantee if possible
While the engine is in pieces is that a good time to add a couple of mods, and if so what?

Do you know if he works for a garage or something? I would need some kind of guarantee for the work done

He builds these engines everyday a lot of the members on here have had work done by ATOM X I'd recommend over a garage anyday of the week !
