Due to needing an mpv for my business I have an Astra 2.2 Bertone Coupe in met blue/silver for sale (or swap/cash adjustment for diesel V220 or possible Passat 130 tdi or BMW 320d).
I have owned The Astra since July last year. In the time that I have owned the car I have done the following as I like to make sure the cars I own are mechanically sound (and my uncle and brother in law are trained mechanics, one being a Vauxhall technician at a main dealer). I planned to keep the car for at least a couple more years, but I have just started a business that requires me to drive long distances and I also have to deliver speedway/grasstrack bikes to my customers ((and they don't fit in a coupe!!) as well as lack of 5th seatbelt and sometime I ferry the kids and their friends about and I feel safer with them all strapped in).
I have done the following since July 2010
*4 new tyres
*Exhaust from cat back (the rear box had a hole, but rather than mess about welding it, I replaced the middle section as well for piece of mind.
*Replaced handbrake cable as easy to do with exhaust off and the lever was high and one of the adjusters had snapped off.
*Clutch kit fitted (was a tad juddery before so thought it best to replace).
*Rear pads and discs
*Rear Coil springs One was broke at the top (all to common on modern cars)Of course both were replaced.
*Serviced using correct Vauxhall oil, Bosch plugs and oil filter, Guttman air filter.
All receipts present to prove with the exception of the clutch, but I can get this from the garage or they will verify.

125K miles but service history (7 services in book) Serviced at 20k,40k,60k,73k,83k,103k,119k.
Vauxhall Wallet including car pass card.
HPI Checked.
Sony Xplod stereo (mp3/usb/bluetooth handsfree etc) which also works with the steering wheel controls.
Bodywork clean and tidy with only a few bumper marks and the odd very light scratch.
Tinted windows (dark at back, lighter tint on drivers and passengers side).
All usual Bertone extra's, electrics, cruise control etc etc, cloth interior, but no rips or tears.
Only bad bits with this car (and for total honesty).
Slight wear on top of steering wheel.
Gear shift feels a bit notchy-but I'm told is just crappy Vauxhall cable linkage.
Gear knob silver paint worn off and rear demister switch lights up, but doesn't seem to clear rear screen very well (i'm told it's probably the tint).
Possibly swap for a diesel TDi golf/passat, Audi A4,A6 TDI BMW 330D, 320D etc, Prefer Merc V220 (cash either way-must be diesel).
