hi i've recently had the timing chain slip on my 2.2 vectra which im in the middle of repairing but i've got a question that im hoping somebody will be able to answer for me as i've never worked on a car with a chain before.
I've removed the head and replaced the inlet valves but as i was about to start work on the timing chain I've noticed that the balance shaft chain isn't exactly tight, it hasn't slipped as it lines up perfectly with the markers but theres a lot of slack in it.. is this normal ?
