I think I found out why my AFM broke on me the other week, I replace the AFM for a new one and a few days later I bought a new air filter. I removed the old air filter and that was very dirty, then as I looked into the empty air box I noticed about 6 drilled holes about the size of a 2p bit :crazy: . I take it too much dirt was getting into the box and making my AFM play up. I cut out some little bits of plastic and used some tiger seal to cover the drilled holes, that should do the job I hope.
