car got through the MOT with a few advisories

offside ARB link has play & front brake pipes have slight corrosion

also offside front wheel is whining at 30 mph and wow wow wow sounds around roundabout - so looks like new hub

anyone got a howto on dropping the front hub please as it is something i have not done before

arb links look straight forward

your prob gonna need pullers for the hub.shouldnt be that bad tho, possibly a nice club hammer to help you along!

ARB droplinks are fairly easy, hardest part is getting the old seized nuts off, I have been through a few i highley recomend getting the mk5 metal ones :thumbup:

good & bad news

Hubs on the front of the astra are just bolted on. Pretty straight forward to do.

Yeah 4 female torx bolts hold the hub in.Remove them then just bang the hub out.Pretty easy and straight forward.

was knackered wheel bearing

funny as there was no play in the bearing itself
