will hi does anyone know if castrol 15/40 is any good for these engines milage on mine is 84500 thanks will.
Matt Doesn't it need to be semi-synthetic or fully synthetic? I use this in the VXR Paul, and it's really good. Fuchs TITAN RACE Pro-S 5w-40 Opie Oils have it on offer at the minute for £40, which is £10 less than I paid for it two weeks ago.
comet I seem to recall reading that semi-synth suits the Z22SE better than the fully synthetic. I know I ran a X20XEV on fully sythn and wasn't too happy with the results. I think most people use a 10W-40 semi-sythn. At the moment I'm on 5W-30 which it seems to like.

MikeS yeh genuine 10/40 or 5/30 seen more z22se's drop a rod on 5/30 though i am going to 10/40 in a month or so when car has a service x18xev or x20xev love 10/40 - prob is breather system on those engines - oil weeps around the throttle body and they breath heavy on high mileage
poundy http://www.valvoline.com/products/consu ... otor-oil/9 this is from the usa web site. says not street legal (over there) why would that be?
