Matt Hi Chris, welcome to the forum. Have you been able to get a fault code reader on it to check if there are any faults logged? Unable to rev past 4.5k suggests the car is in limp home mode to protect itself.
bigdadde1975 hi matt thanks for the reply going to my mates on thursday as he has diag stuff to check the astra went last night to my other mate who has obd2 and no faults were found it has been decated egr blanked and a cheater put on i aint got a clue with it mate but would love it sorted as its a really nice car
