Transfer - hard drives on laptop

The Laptops starting to go slloooooowwwww.
Heres what I think will maybe help dunno.. 😃

..a picture paints a thousand words etc

What can and cant I transfer to the E drive to free up the C drive. (are there any limitations - I dont want to move anything and it not find it stopping it from booting up etc)
..and will this help with my Laptop being clogged up on start up

Computer Management --> Storage --> Disk Management [under control panel or sommit on vista ]

delete your E drive and resize your C drive [resize volume]

reboot then disk defrag - might take a few hours

Either That, or Just move your docs or big movie files etc to the e: drive?

That's what I was thinking of doing but didn't know if some files HAVE to stay on the c drive for start up

Dont touch any of your system files or directories purley your data i.e your my docs so my pictures / my videos etc. Just be careful of the my music folder if you are using itunes though.
