Clean and polish and wax

My car got some good loving today, me and my mate gave my car a quick going over at my friends house. It needed it very bad as it has not been washed and waxed like this since I bought it. All the cars I have owned have never been waxed before, so it was good to see it geting done and I will be doing it in the future for sure. Even the wheels got some tlc today. Big thanks to Paul my mate for getting stuck into my car and using all his products. It was machine polished as well as hand polished. He even bought me a sandwich and can of pop :thumbup: :buffer

yeah i had the plesure of giving mark's car a good clean/polish today , the car is looking brand new again mark, happy to help out mark, i knopw you dont clean your car that often by the state it was in today :lol: , like said chuck the sponge in the bin mate :thumbup:

here is what was used/done

snowfaom maxxii sudds11
PW rinse
washed 2BM using maxii sudds 11
rinse
clayed using megs aggressive clay bar, mark's paint was that much in a state it ruined the clay bar
washed 2BM maxii sudds 11
dried and taped up with 3m tape

then tried 3M ultrafina but the paint was in need of some thing stronger.

so used DODO juice lime prime ''not the lite''
then if we found and RDS/ i give it a going over with the 3M fast cut + 3M green pad,

also wheels cleaned with billbry wheel cleaner

poorboy XP sealant appiled

tyres dressed with megs high gloss endurance tyre shine gel

then on to the wax, DODO juice purple haze PRO

glad you like the finsh mark :thumbup: , i thought it looked stunning in the flesh after the :buffer

but the :vxr: looked better 😃

It does take some work, we spent hours on it today lol. My car still needs some more stuff done to it with the machine polisher in places but it's good for now. Looks like a new car again 🙂 :buffer

Sort of, wish I had bought the gun metal grey version now as they don't show up the marks as much :ugeek:

Nice beading shot there Mark. What was it like before the car was done, any beading at all?

It never used to bead Matt, first time I have seen it do that on this car. Will have to keep on top of the waxing 🙂
