Cheaper Car Insurance

Just seen on the news something about offering younger drivers a reduced insurance premium if they "promise" not to drive between 23:00 and 06:00. That would be no good to me with me working shift!

only pob with that is if you have an accident you wont be insured and if the police stop you also you wont be insured so you could end up in a whole lot of trouble as your certificate will have all the details of when you can drive and youl not be insured the times you not ment to 🙁

i suppose in theory ts a good idea but its not very practical.

i start at 4 am sometimes so would be no good for me lol.

I think it's taking forward the idea which Norwich Union had, where they charged drivers for how many miles they did, and by what time of day they drove.

I wouldn't be happy with the idea of not being able to drive at night, mainly because of what Gaz said, what you supposed to do in an emergency?

I just heard that 2.they fit a tracker to ure car to check if ure driving at night,u are still insured but u have to pay a £25 fee if u do happen to drive at night..

Thats not "as" bad as not being able to drive at all at night, but I'd still not be happy.
