Is this Timing kit genuine?

Hi,

Looking to purchase a Timing Chain kit and came across a seller doing it for a great price. Their ad doesn't list the 55570337 part code so I emailed them to check if it was said part.
They came back to me with it being part FAI -TCK2, bit of googleing later points me at a company called FAI Auto and the kit here http://catalogue.faiauto.com/parts/TCK2#anchor

It's listed as a replacement for the 12577385 and 5636400
I've punched all three codes into Autovaux and they all point to "Timing Chain Kit - Complete Z22SE"

It looks all good to go, but I just wanted to make sure there's not some obscure gotcha with the part numbers.
If anyone can shine some light it'd be much appreciated! cheers..

Ask them if it comes with the newer Z20NET tensioner, as the genuine GM ones does, but most of the aftermarket kits come with the old one.

I bought my timing chain and balance chain kits from ebay, both genuine Vx kits and the timing chain came with the Z20NET tensioner too. Couldn't find it for a similar price anywhere else, both just under £100 each!

Fitted myself and have had no problems to date.

That is a VERY good price for a genuine GM kit.

The list of vehicles it fits looks wrong. Z22YH for the Vectra B 96-02, and it also fits the Vectra C for both the Z22SE & Z22YH.

Clearly the listing for the B is incorrect - but am I right in thinking that the kit for the B & C models varies slightly in the sprockets? In which case it won't fit all the models listed.

I couldn't comment on any differences, but I fitted one to a vectra b with a z22se and it worked fine for me.

The Z22YH is a totally different kit, with a different part number in EPC

i got mine for £85 to the door with the z20 tensioner and genuine vx kit ..

out of the two kits z22se and z22yh . only difference is one cam sproket on genuine gm kits

after market kits will fit either engine ..
