DJBadBoi I'm going to be turboing my astra in next month or so. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so any words of wisdom?? Also I'm having a problem finding a place for oil feed to come from?? Any help much appreciated Cheers Danny
Matt Have seen the Total Vauxhall feature they did on the 2.2 which was turbo'd. Regal did it I think
si_c1978 i gather you would be able to take the oil feeds from the same place as on a z20net, im guessing notsure.gif but it is the same block and i think they just blank the holes when not used, the problem you'll have in an astra if your doing it yourself is there aint much room behind the engine i had to beat seven shades of shit out of my bulkhead, however the engine(z20net) and turbo fitted with only minor interfereance i just needed to gain space asd heat in that area WILL be a problem and also you will need a small amount of space as the engines on soft mounts (i have about an 1" with the heat shield in) if i were to do it again ,i would make sure i made enough clearance before inserting the engine as tidying up our butchery is a bit of a pain! :crazy:
