alanwh Hi, Could someone help please ? I have a Z20net (2.0 Turbo) and have had to tip the engine up on one side with a crane to remove sheared bolts from the timing chain guides. Everythings back in and engine fires and purrs. Now I have a problem with the Power Steering not working. Can anyone help with possible culprit connectors or wiring location please I have been careful to try and not dislodge any of the loom so this is puzzling the hell out of me. PS I can't get a signal from the Power steeering ECU and CIM says it's not receiving input from Power Steering ECU Thanks
MikeS CIM is a pain in the ass works by integrating all the ecu's & modules together everything has to be coded to work alongside and any messing around could be a mean a trip to the dealer
benny where is the pump located ....in the wing / front bumper or down the back of the engine...?............feed and earth for the pump are in the battery box ....some times the main plug on the pump can come off .......
alanwh Sorted !! (It's the pump behind the bumper model) No Ignition live feed, (strange it wasn't near anything that had been moved) For future ref, check the Ignition live. It's the black wire on the multiplug nearest the wheel.
