hi all i was thinking of decating my veccie but im not sure if it will pass mot's emmission test, plus its got oxygen sensors on it so dont know how that will effect anything i just want noise from my exhaust because ive got k and n induction kit and sounds sweet but no backend noise from irmesher box please help with tips and advice!!

you could go for a cat back system and most systems should give a bit more noise to a lot more,you could keep the irmscher back box and get a race tube,thus keeping your cat

I'd recommend a good catback system rather than loose your cat. Even better, replace the main cat with a 200cpi sport cat and a catback system. IMO, decat systems don't sound nice. In fact i'd say they sound shit! But that's just my thinking out loud opinion.

cheers johnny il look into that anotha thing is my ecu came on and i got it checked and it was a o2 sensor it was a friend who checked he said sometimes these things can pop up without there actually being a fault is this true??

rear lambda is to basically monitor performance of cat and throw up codes if the ecu thinks it is not working as well

Used to get this problem on and off a while back. Never anything wrong, basically just as Mike has said. There has been mention of how fast the gases pass the sensor giving inaccurate readings?

cheers johnny making me feel better a wee bit as i found a exhaust manifold nut missing and the gasket blownso might explain the rattle on start up

this is the code that popped up on the ecu code reader P0041 O2 Sensor Signals Swapped Bank 1 Sensor 2/ Bank 2 Sensor 2 is this something to look into further
