adam1986 Hi all I have a rattle round 3000rpm on my astra 2.2.... I took the sump off to clean my oil pick up as i do on all my cars and I found these in the sump......... anyone no what they are?????????????????????????????????
ATOM_X those parts are not engine related granted the ring look like gudgeon pins clips (they are not) Find out who has worked on your engine then kill them
adam1986 it is a spring bout 1.5 cm in length just under a cm in width the a lil block they look like they go together. I overhauled the engine a year and a half ago and they were not there then and TRUST me no one else has worked on the car at all...............
adam1986 They could have been in there tucked away i suppose. Would just like a few more people to make it 100% clear that these are nothing to do with my rattle???
MikeS that spring looks too fragile to be inside an engine - looks like it has come off the gear selector
